Reuben Makaka (Managing Director)
Reuben advises investors, boards and management teams on value creation, operational restructuring and performance improvement in operations-intensive businesses. For more than 15 years, he has helped organisations diagnose underperformance, strengthen operating models, improve cost, cash and productivity, and mobilise the governance required to deliver change.
His experience spans advisory roles at Deloitte and PwC Deals, alongside independent leadership of complex, multi-sector transformation programmes. He has led work across performance diagnostics, value creation planning, working-capital improvement, PMO and programme delivery, benefits realisation, management reporting and change implementation. He combines financial discipline with operational improvement expertise, translating rigorous analysis into practical execution.
A Chartered Accountant, Reuben holds an Executive MBA with Distinction from Imperial College London and completed the Executive Leadership Programme at the University of Oxford. His experience spans the UK, United States, Africa and other international markets, with a particular focus on investor-backed and operationally complex businesses.
